Portfolio Update Mar 2026

A very late post. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write on this site anymore. More about my life or on finance topics.

Then came AI agents. So I wanted to try out to see how it all works. I have a chatgpt subscription which comes with Codex. Codex is a AI coding agent.

I have a google sheet that i used to maintain my portfolio. So I thought maybe I can just ask Codex to help me create a Portfolio Manager app. And I did it within a span of 2 days. I didn’t write a single line of code. All i did was using plan mode, describe what I wanted, codex came up with a proper plan after clarifying some questions. And voila! I have a v1 of my portfolio manager.

Of course when I was using it, there were some minor errors, that I could just tell codex to fix it.

I also had Codex transformed the data I had in googlesheet so that I could import them directly into my app for the initial data. In v2, i want to experiment on calling api’s to brokers to see if I can get transactions so that I don’t need to manually key in these data.

But for now here is my portfolio update. The screenshots you see are from my portfolio manager app.

Overview

Total Portfolio value is at USD$410,121.71. A balance split of Growth and Income stocks.

Sector Allocation

Growth is mainly made up of broad based index funds.

Income is made up of banks stocks (equity) and covered call ETFs. Previously I was in REITs but I have rotated out of REITs into CC ETFs instead. I didn’t have SSB bond here, because I haven’t figure out what rule to add into the app for it yet.
