Q3 turns out to be yet another disappointing quarter. I have been moving some of my funds back to REITs and local bank stocks as there is no more free money in crypto, so here we go.
Stocks/Bonds
- Stocks and REITs – SGD$109
Since all the CEFI meltdowns, I have been allocating money back to REITs using SYFE REIT+, and buying into DBS and OCBC, to build up my income portfolio.
Selling Options
- USD $495
I have been dubbing into selling PUTs option using Tiger broker to generate some income. But I’m not sure if this is something I would recommend, because sometimes you do have to pick up some stocks if you don’t know how to roll your options. I didn’t learn how to do this earlier and got assigned on my $COIN PUT options at $90.
Crypto
- Staking, CRV Bribes, StepN – USD $524
Most of these came from my veCRV fees. Nothing to shout about.
Ad Revenue
- Ezoic – USD $105.98
This revenue stream has also been going down because of crypto winter. Most of my page views were on crypto related articles, and since there is lesser interest now, so lesser views translate to lesser revenue.
Summary
Total alternative income for Q3 is SGD$1650.22. My lowest quarter to date. I’m hoping that Q4 will work out to be better than this quarter. Until then, I’ll continue to hustle.
